Services may not be available in all areas.

Accepted Answer

Some services like detailing and oil changes are offered in flat rate package tiers. More complex services like tinting, wraps, ceramic coatings, and maintenance services are quoted individually based on your vehicle and preferences. You can request personalized quotes from providers, and optionally get competitive quotes from additional providers in the same area.

KitsanaHQ does not set pricing. Providers set pricing according to their local markets and business needs. The "Prices from" shown on the site represents the lowest price for a particular service in your area. This market-driven approach ensures competitive pricing while giving you the opportunity to choose the best provider for the best price.

There are never any hidden fees. The price you pay for service, and any associated fees, are shown clearly as you book.

How does KitsanaHQ ensure provider quality?

Accepted Answer

All providers are thoroughly vetted, researched, and have a verifiable history of delivering quality service. KitsanaHQ shows public reviews and only accepts providers with a 4.6+ Google rating. An internal KitsanaHQ score measures customer satisfaction, response times, missed or late appointments, and complaints. Providers who don't maintain a minimum 4.6+ KitsanaHQ score are removed from the platform.

Do I need an account to book on KitsanaHQ?

Accepted Answer

For non-quotable services, you may use guest checkout. Quotable services require an account for communication with your provider. An account is recommended for the best experience, including provider communication without sharing personal contact info, and full booking history and payment records.

Does KitsanaHQ provide mobile services?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Many providers can come to you, including mobile detailers and mobile automotive services like oil changes, battery replacements, and windshield repairs. Providers are clearly marked as Mobile, In-shop, or Both, and you can search specifically for mobile service. For mobile detailing, you need access/space, water, and power — providers without portable water and generators are filtered out if you can't provide these.

Do I have to pay up front for service?

Not usually. For most services, we only pre-authorize your credit card and charge after service completion. For some quote-based services that require advance ordering of parts, materials, or custom items, the provider may require a deposit. The deposit amount is shown on the quote and clearly disclosed at checkout. Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel, but are fully refunded if the provider cancels.

Can I tip my service provider?

Tips are 100% optional, not expected, but always appreciated. When you book, you may pre-select a tip. After service is completed, you can review, change, or cancel it via SMS or a quick email link.

What if my car is damaged during service?

Accepted Answer

Contact KitsanaHQ immediately. All providers are insured and bonded. KitsanaHQ will work with you and the provider to resolve the issue and guarantees that any issue will be made right. It is always wise to take before and after pictures.

Question 11

Does KitsanaHQ store my credit card information?

Accepted Answer

No. KitsanaHQ works with Stripe to process all payments and does not see or store your credit card. Only the last 4 digits and expiry date are retrieved from Stripe for display in your account profile. You may delete your card from Stripe as long as it is not attached to a current or upcoming service.

Are there cancellation fees?

Cancellation fees may apply if you cancel a service within 24 hours of its scheduled start. Cancelling before this time is free.
