We started KitsanaHQ with a specific purpose in mind. To bring the good parts of the Gig Economy to regular, existing businesses and obsessively work to reject all of the bad.

The Problem We See

Let's face it...the Gig Economy has been wildly successful. It's created vast businesses and the billionaires who only care about themselves. Success is always at the expense of personal wages, local small businesses, and customers who pay a lot more to watch their neighbourhood struggle.

These marketplaces claim that they are technology companies only and everyone is simply an independent operator. But the reality is, they set prices. They set policies. They set hours. They create a system where operators are no longer truly independent.

We find that notion offensive.
